On a serious note,
Here is a picture of the dish:

The naan bread was hard and chewy unfortunately, and the seemingly lamb-based curry main course was rather very dry (even with the curry), and the lamb was tough and overcooked. I'm very surprised, because Indian dishes tend to fare pretty well on the air... but this was rather bland. I love Indian food, and this does not in any way compare to that provided by Singapore Airlines or the likes, let alone that on the ground... and that's me saying as a CX supporter.
This was on CX405, the dinner flight from TPE.
This deserves some critics, though largely due to the on board preparation.
The "sauce" & lamb part is somewhat limited, should have a little more and more sauce.
Regarding bland: Yep, the taste has to be suitable for "everybody", with that as result. Though, you do have the spicy mixed veg pickles and you can ask for pepper&salt (should be provided by default ....). You probably can even ask for other condiments like hot curry/chilli sauce. Changes the whole quite a lot.
The biggest fail seems to be the on-board preparation: The whole hot meal part comes as a package, including the nan in one go. Ie, the dish with the rice, the alu lid on top, the nan again on top of that and then the whole covered/sealed with alu foil. THIS WHOLE ASSEMBLY HAS TO GO into the oven for heating and when you unpack (yourself!) to eat, you have a hot nan (initially feeling a little watery, though that'll go away within 10-15 seconds), and a nice rice with sauce meal (without being dried out).
What seems to have happened for you is, they removed the alu foil and the nan and put the dish with lid in the oven. Than you get moisture/steam leakage and the rice dries out. And the nan is simply not sufficiently prepared (ie hard/chewy, effectively uncooked, half raw)......
My last trip, they made the same mistake, though luckily, the sauce part was sufficient to prevent the rice from drying out. I never got the nan, maybe because it did not pass the QA for serving .....
Next trip, I am going to give them upfront instructions how to prepare, the moment they ask for confirmation about the special meal.......
