Not working so easily for me. I'm trying to change a half-flown booking. My return is JFK-LHR-INV. Currently scheduled on a morning JFK-LHR with an overnight connection to INV the following day. Perfect because I prefer flying during the day rather than overnight.
When I ring BA to change the booking to a different date, they are unable to create the same overnight connection at LHR, despite the same flights being operated and having plenty of room. They say the only options they see are evening departures from JFK, connecting immediately to INV. Asking them to perform a multi-city search produces a result that appears to be priced as a one-way fare (twice as expensive). This happens on any date I ask them to check.
Doesn't seem right. Am I missing something?
