I figured the $10 discount was exchanged for the two free drinks at Lona. Our two free drinks were awful and service at Lona was terrible. It was really the only lowpoint with regards to service from the hotel. I try to separate the two, though... I really feel like they need to get their act together but there's plenty of other options for dining around that I'm not too worried about it.
