I was looking at this property for April as well... IHG just really lacks a decent presence in Taipei... I had a similar problem when we went to Seoul in December, and ended up in a regional brand.

In the end, after exhaustive research I went with the Aloft in Zhongshan. I thought the rates for the sizable Breezy room were quite reasonable, the location seemed convenient, and it had the strength of a major chain brand. Plus they will set up Camp Aloft in the room, which is a small bonus for the kids.
