I’m in exactly the same boat. Rate was promoted by Egencia because apparently it was company preferred, but buried in the terms was the condition that the rate “may not earn miles or points.” It’s still not clear if that was may as in ‘it may or may not’ or may as in the proper version of can (I,e, you can’t earn miles on this), but Egencia was super clear that they would not help me get credit. Adding insult to injury was that this was for a non-profit client and is the stay was non-taxable, but Egencia charged tax, so I got dinged for that (they will book government rates for an extra $12, I was told after the fact).

So, armed with the Egencia receipt and a zero balance folio from the hotel showing nights stayed, I’ve requested miles from Marriott. I haven’t heard anything back yet.

I don't even even care about the points at this point, just the nights. Everyone seems to act as if the points are coming out of their pocket.
