It's a poor comparison, but I once had an entirely hand-written bag tag successfully get my bag all the way through, but that was the Hopper. I would just have checked to see SIN on the tag that went on your bag - if it did you should be fine.
I had a three segmenter (INTL, two of them with same flight number, different planes) with a hand written baggage tag done on the fly due to sorta IRROPS, still made it to destination.
