I have to make do with what I can get.

Bacon here comes in the form of panceta ahumada which looks as if it's been pre-cooked. However once fried it goes along very nice with a buttered figazza grande 'roll'. As for chips. I make my own and add salt and vinegar. I do like gravy with chips but no chance of getting that here.
