The last time I checked a bag when computers were acting up (on LH), it didn't catch up with me until three days after arrival.
It's a poor comparison, but I once had an entirely hand-written bag tag successfully get my bag all the way through, but that was the Hopper. I would just have checked to see SIN on the tag that went on your bag - if it did you should be fine.
