I know, really old thread, but when I searched for: "United club hnl honolulu" this was the only one on the first page that seemed to fit (the "club access" doesn't really apply since this isn't about getting in).

Anyway (moderates can feel free to move this):

I was on AA and had my 2 free passes for United Club via Chase card, so we used it on 2/19/18.
The furniture has been updated (leather chairs and whatnot). There are not a lot of power ports (only on the "end" tables of each section where there's a lamp with 2 AC ports). There supposedly are power ports in the cubicle sections.

Staff were super friendly and constantly cleaning/taking away dirty plates/etc.
I like the free bar for non-premium liquors and certain mixed drinks.

The food spread I thought was quite good considering some lounges you only get crackers. They had one soup (chicken and wild rice soup). They had two "sandwich" salads: Egg Salad and Chicken Salad, and 2 different breads to use, but they also had another "roll" section right next to it so I used the purple potato roll for my egg salad.
They had 3 different cheeses (cubed cheese): pepperjack, colby, and cheddar. I believe there was also a regular salad mix and some vegetables (cauliflower, broccoli, and I think carrots and celery) for dips and things. On the other side there were crackers (3-4 diff. kinds) and some yummy lemon bars (little tiny ones but you just grab a few and keep going back--haha).

The bathrooms could use some updating, though. The faucets and soap dispensers were crudded over with hard water or lime or something. Looked quite nasty and one soap dispenser didn't work.

When we arrived I'd say it was maybe 1/3 full, and then got a little more busy (maybe 2/3 full) with people and then around 1:30 - 2:00 p.m. kinda cleared out and hardly anyone there.

Overall though I think it's one of the better United Clubs I've been to in terms of food offerings. I think a close 2nd or tie would be the one I was at in ORD (sorry don't remember which terminal I was in) last year. Better than Denver's club (in terms of food offering), although the lady at the bar in Denver can make a mean cosmo.
