When mentioning buses it's probably worth mentioning how you're meant to pay for them and how much it is. London buses don't take cash but until recently most other buses were the complete opposite (only took cash), Staines being outside London means Oyster won't be valid on this bus and it may or may not take contactless cards (more bus companies are rolling it out).
