As an aside this is not a CAA or HSE issue but one for the Environmental Health department at Hillingdon Council who cover Heathrow. Contact them.

The cabin crew apologized. What does it take, someone in a dark suit on bended knee at your mother's house?

What will a solicitor do? Obtain an order directing the said dark suit to appear on bended knee?

For all of the social media threats, few have any impact.

Your mother was not injured, she does not want compensation, she herself has not complained and BA is apparently done. Either vote with your feet (fly other carriers) or let it pass.
