So there are some valuable posts after all. So yes, 2 flights offered per day nonstop (MSP>>DCA) on American at 7500 avios (if lowest redemption possible).
I'm also following up on Seattle Dave's Chase Sapphire suggestion, that Chase Sapphire Preferred card yields 50,000 points which can be transferred 1:1 to Southwest Rewards, no annual fee with a spend of $4000. This could be coupled with a Southwest card with a spend of $2000 no annual fee to yield a second 50,000 points for the same $6000 total spend. So 100,000 Southwest Rewards points = $1600 and these are active points accounts that won't expire like the Avios will. Also no annual fees (the first year) so no $190 ante like that the avios card will entail. And Southwest always allows redemption, points slide up if fare increases, there's no availability issue. But no Southwest nonstops to DCA.
2 good choices.
