I actually hate the curbside pickup, at least when LAX had it. I always ended up waiting 10 minutes or so and then the additional time to the offsite location. Now it’s some shared shuttle that doesn’t seem to be terribly reliable with its running schedule. After 30 minutes of looking for the “magenta colored” shuttle or something I finally requested SilverCar to send someone to pick me up, which they did after about ten minutes. Thankfully I wasn’t in a rush to get anywhere except my hotel and I was having baggage issues which took 20+ minutes to resolve. All in all not a huge issue that time around, but certainly a negative mark now in my book. On the plus side I got an “older” (like 2.5 to 3 year) old Audi (which ran and looked perfectly fine) so they gave me a 20% discount which stacked for a total of 50% off for my five days. Absolutely AMAZING value when my total bill was like $186 or something!

I’m curious how they work at SEA since most their rental cars are off site but have a good routine shuttle between the rental car hub and the airport... or if they’re off-off site somewhere.
