I normally go for J on long haul but I can't really justify the difference in price this time (J is around $3000).
I can’t imagine west coast from Italy goes much under $2500 that often. But it’s still a big differential.
But at that price Maybe buy an extra coach seat for the elbow room. Works particularly well when there are two pax on an aircraft with a 3-seat row.
