I may have been mistaking them for paninis. Incidentally I know for a fact the BoB bacon rolls come wrapped in plastic, so that isn't necessarily a barrier. Fairly sure I witnessed them coming out though, and possibly they were pre-warmed in the official fashion and kept warm in the oven?
