So I'm sorry to report that this saga continues...

So we boarded the SIN-bound dreamliner, and I scored a surprise op-up to first! I was welling with excitement thinking the airline gods were on my side again

We sit in the dreamy cabin, are served, and guess what... The captain comes on with news that there's congestion over muscat and we're delayed a half hour. Alright, excellent news I think as I have longer to enjoy the cabin, and am served aperitifs and drinks by the crew. We get ready to push back, and BAM potential air ventilation system fault that needs to be fixed, thought to take 45 mins... We wait and wait (and at one point all power in the aircraft goes off unexpectedly?!)... long story short, we have now deplaned the aircraft and are waiting for another at a different gate.
