A report on one compensation case from December 2017:
A party of AY Gold and Basic. The flight HEL-Kokkola was cancelled due to crew shortage. Both alternatives AY offered (either a flight to Vaasa and taking a bus from there, or flying the next day) lead into a delay exceeding 3 h. It took one month but without trying to deny anything, AY agreed to pay the compensation of EUR 250, or alternatively a gift card of EUR 350. The compensation was paid by AY on behalf of Norra "on an exceptional basis".
