I'm currently booked on a one-way ticket on Etihad from YYZ-SIN via AUH. The YYZ-AUH segment is in Economy, and I used miles to upgrade AUH-SIN to J.

We just boarded the AUH bound flight at YYZ, and after pushing back, the captain came on board to let us know that there was a technical issue for which we are taxiing to a remote stand, and that we will try to sort things out. If we can't sort things out, we will have to deplane. We are at the remote stand at the moment

Assuming the worst and that the flight is cancelled, what options do I have?
