I was once left on the ground when a LIM-EZE N6 flight left two hours early, back in 2002 (I believe). No notification, no explanation, no nothing. They had decided to change the schedule the day before and blamed me from not "reconfirming" the flight - which I had done, as instructed, 48 hours before. I was given a choice between being put up for two nights at the Meliá downtown while waiting for the next flight, or to fend for myself and try to get their downtown office to buy me a ticket on an alternative carrier the next day. Being a broke student at the time, I went with the former (and got food poisoning from the hotel buffet). Thankfully that sorry excuse for an airline went bankrupt in 2005.
