My application at PSK went through without any problem and it was quite fast. This happened in November first week. Police verification was done after a few days. In the end of November, few days before my US trip I went to the Passport information center and they said that they have no control on the time taken for the background check and it has to go through all the GOI departments. So I am waiting till now and even today it is Pending Review.
I am Indian citizen, so is this happening only for us?
