Has this happened to you? My wife and I booked our summer flights back to the US quite early, as they can get super expensive if you wait. We originally booked a Hainan flight, that left KMG in the morning with a transfer in PEK with 2 or 3 hours to get to our international flight to ORD.

I just learned that they changed my flight, with my KMG-PEK segment landing at 16:05 and my PEK-ORD segment departing on the same day 13:40! I have contacted CTrip and we have months to get this straightened out, but it is pretty wild that CTrip and Hainan’s IT would even allow such an itinerary to happen.
