I can finally reveal that Qantas has offered us an exclusive opportunity to tour parts of HQ. Because of operational sensitivities, one area being toured can only be announced to the attendees on the day - safe to say that it isn't included in any normal tours of QF HQ.
We’re limited to 2 groups, each of 10 members. Each group will participate in 2 back to back sub-tours that run for 30 mins each. At all times, up to and including during the tours, we must follow the directions of the QF tour leaders. There is also the chance that in the event of unforeseen operational requirements beyond Qantas’s control, the tour may need to be cut short or cancelled.
While you’re welcome to ask questions along the way, there will be a joint Q&A session at the end of the tour. I am sure there will be many common queries, and this would give us a chance to share the knowledge within the group. For those who cannot attend, perhaps collate your questions for the lucky tour group members to ask on your behalf. As always Qantas will do their best to answer, however may need to come back to us for the ones that require follow up.
