The only time you get the benefit of almost two years of the CP is the first time you earn it. After that you are just adding another year.
I was being a little facetious. The original complaint makes no sense. If you already have CP this year then it doesn't make a difference when you earn it this year, correct? It's going to be good until Dec 31, 2019, right? So unless the point of the OP was that they are flying too often, then why is February too early to be 40% to another CP? I'm not questioning you, just checking my math, so to speak, and trying to see if I'm missing something in the OP.
