On my YYZ YVR flight, they were calling final boarding like 40-45 mins before the delayed depature. I was running like a mad men from YYZ DOM MLL to the gate and was indeed one of the last one onboard.
Needless to say once I boarded we stayed at the gate until planned depature time.
