It's not the flight that's wonky, it's the train segment. EWR-LAX still books into P. UNITED is saying ZFV-EWR is an economy B fare (so I wouldn't even get business). If I price the whole thing in economy, ZFV-EWR is an economy S fare.
BTW ZFV-EWR via Amtrack's website is $56.70 for coach.
