Just a quick note on this... if you book online they do track your IP address for the purpose of determining "if the tickets were issued in the USA".

So if you are traveling outside the USA and need to book a ticket you want covered by this policy, use a VPN that gives you a US-based IP address, and also be sure to use a credit card with a US billing address. Also be sure that you change the "country" to the USA on the top-right corner of the aeroflot home page, in case it does not indicate USA.
