I just earned Diamond (thanks AMEX Aspire card!) and have business travel to Puerto Rico next week. The Hilton Ponce is 100% booked up until almost April, presumably with contractors and FEMA folks. I didn't feel like calling in, but I thought maybe the Concierge from my Citi Prestige wouldn't mind calling, so I emailed them my details and request including Hilton Diamond #, and asked them to call for availability next week. (If you aren't using the Concierge, you're missing out!)
Anyone care to wager what they'll say when they get back to me?
Diamond availability (if any) should show online for any properties and time frames that you can use it on. It is however not applicable for "times of extraordinary demand" such as special events and possibly hurricane cleanup.
