Flying on Hawaiian Air from OGG-SFO. Connecting to a United flight SFO-ORD. The scheduled times are 65 minutes apart.

Apparently HA won't interline my bags to UA so I have to get from baggage claim then go back through security and recheck with UA. In addition to short connection time, it says the HA flight lands in International terminal. Not being too familiar with SFO, does this sound like it can be done or am I in trouble? Any suggestions?

I've contacted HA and asked if they would interline and just got a canned response.

Should I contact UA to see if I can check my bags with them in OGG?

Would a luggage delivery service from OGG be worth it?

Any help would be appreciated.
