I and my travelling companions liberated a couple of beers from GF to lubricate our journey to FCO for the rugby a week or so ago. We had only time for one drink in the lounge and, of course, could have arrived earlier to drink the beers in the lounge but we clearly failed on that count.

We secreted said beers in the seat pockets in front of us (exit row) successfully, but had reckoned without an overzealous FA who decided he wanted to push our newspapers further into the seat pockets for take off. "Ah, Contraband?!" he whispered, smiled and then proceeded to bring us plastic glasses once we were airborne. A very nice touch.
