We were given breakfast menu cards on BA54 from joburg at the weekend, which is new. This raised expectations of “maximised sleep”, however, my preferred option of a beverage 50 mins prior to landing was just delivered with the usual breakfast service at 1h30 before landing, with the ultimate kick in the teeth - they woke me up for it! Why do they bother with these initiatives when they are not followed through correctly? From the complaints I heard on board, several orders were also incorrect. They didn’t even actively collect the cards, I had to give them in before I went to sleep....
