Hi,
I think there have been a few cases where ticketing has not been completed after changes have been made and it is probably better to get it checked earlier rather than getting to the airport. It has happened to me once years ago ( following an upgrade using avios on a return leg-outbound was fine but had to phone up BAEC prior to my return) but has not happened since.
