Thanks for the varied comments. I am minded to take this route but can you settle one doubt about baggage: would any checked bags go directly thru to London? Also, if took a BA flight on the return leg to JFK or MIA, I assume that would count as a qualifed flight for Silver (out of the 4 required) ? I understand the AA would not qualify.
