Will I need to pay the $25.00 USD Visa On Arrival, or would I be eligible for a TWOV since it's under 48 hours, have the print-out of the hotel stay as well as the onward BP issued in Toronto?

If the airline arranges the hotel as part of the connection, then I understand they will also sort out your entry into the country.

I know its must be written up somewhere that you can have a 24H free transit visa, because it keeps getting reported. But you can't.

No harm at all in trying, if you have time to spare - but be prepared to stump up the $25. Or ask MS if you are entitled to a hitel.
