Apparently some guy went on his first solo and while he was downwind the preceding aircraft crashed and blocked the runway and he had to divert. Poor guy!

Another one I heard of in terms of bad luck, on his (not the same one as the solo one) first flight as a captain he had a medical incident, then a drunk that went violent and resulted in a diversion to offload, followed by a bird strike on take-off. That's having a bad day... But at least he got rid of the 3 bad things in a day.
