And if you want others to understand your perspective you should also understand that some people also only sleep 4 or 5 hours a day... so to them 30 minutes is worth quite a bit more than a cheap jacket.

I always find it remarkable when people solicit opinions then get annoyed when people share their opinion.
I guess I just prefer less hyperbole and more advice and experiences. I dont think I have criticized any serious advice, if so, that is definitely not my intent. I personally think this is something that does happen and people might be looking to FT as they often do for help and nice to have a thread with some advice.
