I think some of you have good suggestion, starting from credit card company and so forth. hopefully OP will get some compensation, but doesn't hurt to be prepared to let it go, hoping for good karma in the future
Actually, other than those that have given good advice on how to handle the situation for me and others that might be in the situation in the future, I think this is a very good point. I definitely would hate for this to fall on the FA as that is not the point for sure and couldnt imagine it doing so unless the employee had other disciplinary issues. I actually made mention of it as she handed me a piece of paper they give out detailing the incident which I am assuming a copy of goes with the flight record so it has already been documented.
