In this case, might it be a better gamble to book my wife into biz on an award ticket, and myself onto a paid ticket in PE, in the hope that I will be upgraded to J, being DM and flying on a busy weekend? If yes, would that change the choice which flight to go on (CX889 vs. CX899)?
