A “technical stop” is generally one where the aircraft stops for technical reasons - the most common being refueling to complete its scheduled flight - without discharging or taking on new passengers.

A “through flight” is one that makes a normal airport stop (or more than one), discharging and taking on new passengers as needed, under the same flight number. The title has been changed to reflect this usage. / Moderator
