Interesting enough, I can move back and forth between both options.

Refresh your page once you log in with the "My trips" box clicked (so that it displays your upcoming 2-3 trips). Refreshing twice sent me back to the 'old' way. Waiting a minute and refreshing once more sent me back to the 'new' way.
