The compensation amount is par for the course as are the copying and pasting of entirely irrelevant messages designed for another situation and the reference to ‘fairness’ as an easy way to try and guilt complainants into accepting any (or no) compensation offered.

and no, before someone else says it, it’s not a case where ‘all airlines are the same’. Ba customer relation is probably one of the weakest in the industry.
