I tried to cancel and no refund aloud will make Hyatt look bad in long run. Every country puts a travel advisory out but you cant cancel and get a refund. Shame on you Hyatt
Have you tried rescheduling for the future? I've never had them refuse that, even if well past the cancellation date (though have never tried with a completely prepaid rate if that's what you have).
