I haven't sat in 1L, but I've been in 1A and 1K. 1A was okay, and I think 1L will be as well. No worse than 4B. At least you're not looking straight down the aisle at the lavs like you are with 4B.
4B doesn't stare down the aisle, just a wall to the right. 3C gives you the lavs and your new closest friends in 3D/E.
