The DoubleTree by Hilton brand will be coming to Rome in 2019/2020. A hotel is to open in the center of the city, on Via Torino 1, about 300 meters from the main railway station Roma Termini. In the past the structure was trading as Hotel Commodore. Renovation will take about two years and a rooftop bar-restaurant will be added to the building, offering a nice skyline view. The hotel will be managed by the same company that is going to open a DoubleTree in the Italian city of Trieste.
