I have no first-hand experience booking via a travel agent and earning/not earning points, but here's the info from the IHG T&C (emphasis added): https://www.ihg.com/content/us/en/cu...member-tc.html
Points will be awarded for Qualifying Stays booked through IHG’s central reservation offices, IHG web sites, authorized travel agents (excluding online travel agents such as Expedia.com and booking.com, and unauthorized agents on online vertical travel portals), or directly at the hotel.
I would assume that your corporate travel agent falls under the category of "authorized?" Why not call IHG and ask them how to add your number to the reservation yourself, if it's even possible? Then you'll know what to do the next time your corporate TA does a booking for you. Bit of a nuisance, but certainly worth the effort if you're actively collecting points in the program.
