this has been my issue, gate change or not, and not limited to UA, had it happen on JetBlue in Dec.on both legs of a round trip. Have the BP in passbook, it displays on the lock screen normally at whatever time before the flight (like 5 hours or so). At home or wherever I am. Then I arrive at the airport, and the pass still exists, but is no longer on the lock screen. Sometimes I can go into wallet and toggle the setting off to display on lock screen, the. Re-enable and it comes back there. Other times, the setting isn’t there, and I have to delete, then re-add to passbook.
I really think it is it is a bug in Wallet with the geolocation - maybe because a BP displays based on time - but when you get to a location, where in many other instances a pass would appear on the lock screen, this is reversing it and disappearing. As I said, has happened with more than UA, and out of multiple airports, so I’m pretty sure it’s a bug Apple needs to fix.
