MCT question - Olympic to Aegean connection

Hi all,

I have two separate PNRs for a trip from Santorini to Paris. The first is booked on Olympic: 11.35am arriving 12.20pm. The next is booked Aegean (SQ redemption) to Paris, departing 1.25pm.

I know that as these are separate PNRs, I am at risk if we don't make the connection. But, generally speaking, is 65 minutes enough connection time at Athens (assuming the Olympic flight does not come in too late)?

If i was to book it directly on Aegean, they provide the same flights as a connection option. But I am not / am redeeming points.

Unfortunately the only other connection is hours earlier, which means a lot of waiting time at Athens.

Any contributions appreciated

EDIT: Also, forgot to ask, I assume I can check luggage all the way through to Paris?

EDIT #2 : Eek, another question - I assume this is classified as intra-Shengen to intra-Shengen, which means no passport control?
