It's quite a good redemption for RFS as paid fares can easily get quite expensive, especially JUN-AUG. While the Costa Navarino resorts and ultra luxury Amanzoe boutique resorts are both stunning, there are plenty of accommodations to suit all pockets. Plenty of affordable villas to rent and apartments/family hotels, local tavernas and souvlakeri to experience, great tasting peloponnese wines and local seafood, ancient ruins and waterfalls to explore. And above all mile upon mile of clear Ionian waters and golden sand. I was completely sold. Aware I'm going off the original topic a bit now, but incredibly envious of the OP's upcoming travel plans to one of Europes' relatively well kept secrets.
