BA1580 (AA723) goes to Philadelphia, not Las Vegas. If you have bought a ticket, you have booked the wrong destination!

In addition to the check-in deadline stated in the previous post, when you have two separate tickets, you always have to allow for the first flight being an hour or two (or more) late. If you miss the connection, BA doesn't have to do anything for you. Best to arrive the previous evening.
