There is no official “sale” as such from BA.com. I believe it’s just a ‘great fares’ marketing moment. The Xmas/new year sale finished on the 31st Jan.
On a separate note, I’m not sure what these fares say about forward bookings or bookings in general having just had a 6 week official sale.
