Welcome to Flyertalk and welcome to the BA forum BAW94, it's good to see you here and I hope you have a good time in Kalamata, A good place for fish restaurants. The airport is modern by Greek standards but as you can see it is very small, indeed my thought when uploading my photo was "a carpark with an airport attached". I would turn up one hour before departure, or a few minutes before. At these sorts of airports a lot of people seem to turn up 3 or 4 hours before departure when they only open up 2 hours beforehand, and being Greece that could be a bit late too. You have to check in at the airport, the App and self print boarding passes do not work there. No lounge, just a duty free corner and a bar / café airside.



And yes, pillows should be on the seats in both directions as you board, and blankets on request, but they are fairly thin things and not particularly large, so if this important to you then you may want to bring your own.
